I am a mom, businesswoman, and 4th generation Floridian. I have firsthand experience fighting to help my child succeed educationally when the public school system could not meet his needs. Our test scores show it isn't just my child whose needs are not being met. On average only 29% of third graders in my district can read proficiently. I stand ready to advocate for every child to succeed to the best of their ability. I will use my experience balancing budgets and managing employees to better manage taxpayer resources so that outcomes can improve. I am dedicated to improving opportunity, accountability, and civility. I represent real change for our School Board. For generations, the board has been comprised of educators yet we've made no meaningful improvements in scores and dissatisfaction is at an all-time high. I bring a fresh perspective. I do not believe education should be one size fits all and will question the status quo. With your help, we can do better for Brevard families.
  • Opportunity- Education should not be one size fits all. From choice schools to a variety of vocational programs, more options mean more opportunities for families.
  • Accountability- Outcomes can improve when resources are managed in a way that is transparent, does not burden taxpayers, and supports good teachers.
  • Civility- Parents, students, and the community are all crucial stakeholders in education. Each should have a voice in the process and should be treated with respect.
School Choice, curriculum transparency, parental rights, and more.
