As a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, I am deeply rooted in the values of family and community. Growing up in San Antonio has given me a profound appreciation for the vibrant culture and the strong connections we share here. I believe that our community's strength lies in our relationships, as well as Entrepreneur, CEO and Chaplain. I bring a unique perspective. I am committed to serving District 7 with the genuine care and dedication that our families deserve."
  • Public safety is a crucial priority. We must equip all first responders with advanced technology and resources, ensuring they are fully prepared to handle any emergency situation effectively. This will enable them to reduce response times and provide timely assistance.
  • Building a stronger local economy means reallocating existing funds to invest in both current and future small businesses. We need to ensure transparency in wasteful spending and cut through the regulatory hurdles that hinder new businesses from coming to our district. By providing long-awaited incentives and support, we can drive growth and create a thriving business environment.
  • Addressing long-standing infrastructure issues involves improving streets, sidewalks, and drainage systems to enhance safety and accessibility for all commuters. We must implement solutions to minimize fatalities from car accidents by reducing construction time and ensuring that projects are done well and in a timely manner.
We have seen in various calamities that federal and state emergency assistance can often be delayed, sometimes taking weeks or even months to arrive. To address this, we must implement policies that enhance the city’s preparedness for emergencies, including natural disasters and school shootings. This includes investing in flood control measures, developing comprehensive emergency response plans, and preparing our local churches by equipping them with the necessary resources for a faster response. Furthermore, conducting regular disaster drills and simulations for both emergency responders and the community will allow us to practice response protocols and identify areas for improvement.
As a city council member, I am committed to serving our community by being a voice for the voiceless and advocating for those in need. I will actively engage with residents to better understand their needs, craft and vote on local laws, and oversee the budget to ensure effective allocation of resources for essential public services and infrastructure. Additionally, I will develop policies that promote economic development, public safety, and environmental sustainability while representing our district’s interests in discussions with other government entities.

Monitoring the performance of city departments, responding swiftly to crises, and making informed decisions regarding zoning and land use are also key aspects of my role, as I aim to foster sustainable growth. Collaboration will be essential as I work alongside fellow council members, city officials, and community organizations to tackle complex issues. My advocacy for District 7 at the state and federal levels will focus on securing funding and support for initiatives that benefit our residents, ensuring I prioritize the diverse needs of our community throughout my term in office.
My first job at 12 yrs work till I was 17 yrs helping my parents’ commercial cleaning company, where I witnessed firsthand the challenges that small businesses face, particularly when it comes to navigating bureaucracy. Working alongside my parents, I gained valuable insights into the operational side of the business, from managing schedules to ensuring quality service for our clients.

I observed how cumbersome regulations and red tape could hinder growth and efficiency, making it difficult for small businesses like ours to thrive. This experience highlighted the importance of advocating for policies that simplify processes and reduce unnecessary barriers for entrepreneurs.

It also instilled in me a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to supporting local businesses. I learned that small businesses are the backbone of our economy, providing jobs and contributing to the community.

As I pursue my candidacy for city council, I am passionate about addressing these bureaucratic challenges. I want to work towards creating a more favorable environment for small businesses, ensuring that they have the support they need to succeed and contribute to our community’s growth.
