Dale C. Workman was a circuit court judge for the Sixth Circuit Court in Tennessee. He served in this position from 1990 to August 2014.[1][2] He was re-elected in 1998 and 2006.[3][4]

Education

Workman received his B.S. degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 1968 and his J.D. degree from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville College of Law in 1969. He was admitted to the Tennessee Bar in 1970.[2][5]

Career

Workman began his career in 1970 working for the law firm of Baker, McAuly, Ray, and Byrne. The following year, he joined Lockett, Slovis and Weaver where he worked until 1983. Workman also previously served as a part-time assistant law director for Knox County from 1973 to 1983. He was then appointed the law director of Knox County and served in that position until 1988.[2]
