Campaign themes

In an interview with The Herald News, Robillard listed the following campaign themes:[2]

If elected 1 will support reducing class sizes because students deserve the best learning environment we can provide. I also will support career pathways to allow students to be college and workforce ready upon graduation. I believe we must have better fiscal management, therefore I would support zero based budgeting and a full audit of accounts, departments, and positions in the system. I would work toward hiring more teachers and streamlining administration. We have far to many administrators and supervisors in our school system. The money saved should be spent on the students and class room teachers.
