David Silva
David Silva was a judge for the Bee County Court in Bee County, Texas.[1] He first joined the court in 2007, and was re-elected in 2010.[2] He was re-elected on November 4, 2014, for a term commencing on January 1, 2015, and expiring on December 31, 2018.[3][4] Silva passed away on March 16, 2015.[5]

Primary: He ran unopposed in the Republican primary on March 4, 2014.
General: He defeated Raul Casarez in the general election on November 4, 2014, receiving 55.3 percent of the vote.

Silva defeated Democrat Arnold Medina in the general election for the Bee County Court, winning 69.6 percent of the vote.[7]
Education
Silva received a B.A. and M.A. from Texas A&I University at Corpus Christi, Texas.[2]
Career
Silva served as a municipal judge in Bee County from 2004 to 2006.[2]
