Deborah C. Welsh
Deborah C. Welsh is a district court judge for the 20th Judicial District in Virginia.[1] She was elected to the court by the Virginia General Assembly in May 2012 and sworn in on June 29, 2012. Her current term expires in 2020.[2][3]
Education
Welsh received both her undergraduate degree and J.D. from the University of Richmond.[4]
Career
Before she became a judge, Welsh worked as an attorney in private practice for over thirty years. During this time, she also served as a deputy town attorney for Leesburg, Virginia and as a town attorney for Purcelville, Virginia.[3]
