|I have worked at two schools. At the high school a Media Clerk and Instructional Assistant. At the middle school, I was an Instructional Assistant, Medication Clerk and Discipline Clerk. A co-worker and I started a mentoring club and we also made a green space at the school. During Covid learning was different. We didn’t think the students would always want to sit in the classroom.
Teachers and staff should have the support of the administrators. The teachers need the support of the parents. The parents, teachers, staff and administrators need the support of the community. All teachers want is to be appreciated, respected and supported.
All students can learn. We each learn differently. They just need someone to take the time to learn their style.- It’s time for a change and the time is now. One person can’t do it alone. We can start planting the seed in others…
