Don Arnold

Don Arnold is a judge for the Washington County General Sessions Court in Washington County, Tennessee. He was appointed to the court by the Washington County Commission in January 2013 and was elected to the court on August 7, 2014. His current term expires in 2022.[1][2]

Arnold ran for re-election to the Washington County General Sessions Court.
Primary: He was successful in the Republican primary on May 6, 2014, receiving 61.5 percent of the vote. He competed against Russell Kloosterman and Will Monk.
General: He defeated Stephanie Sherwood in the general election on August 7, 2014, receiving 63.2 percent of the vote.

Education
Arnold received his undergraduate degree from East Tennessee State University and his J.D. from the University of Tennessee School of Law.[6][7]
Career
Immediately prior to his appointment to the bench, Arnold worked as an attorney in private practice. During his career, he also served as the mayor for Johnson City and as an assistant district attorney.[6]
