Donald E. Armstrong Jr. was a district court judge for the 30th District Court of Kentucky, which presides over Jefferson County. First elected to the court in 1999, he was defeated by Jennifer Leibson in his 2014 bid for re-election. His term expired on January 4, 2015.[1][2][3]

General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 45.4 percent of the vote. He competed against Jennifer Leibson. [3] 

2010

Armstrong ran unopposed and was retained to the 30th District Court on November 2, 2010, in the general election.[1]

Education

Armstrong graduated from Waggener High School and earned his undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University. He received his J.D. degree from the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville.[4]

Career

While working with Smith & Armstrong, Attorneys, Armstrong was also a part-time assistant attorney for Jefferson County for eight years. While serving as a judge, Armstrong served two terms as chief judge.[4]
