Ellen Fite was a 2014 candidate for the Shelby County General Sessions Court, Division 5 in Tennessee.[1][2]

Fite ran for election to the Shelby County General Sessions Court.
General: She was defeated in the general election on August 7, 2014,, after receiving 45.3 percent of the vote. She competed against incumbent Judge Betty Thomas Moore.

Education
Fite received her undergraduate degree from the University of Cincinnati and her J.D. degree from the University of Memphis.[3]
Career
Fite has practiced law in the Memphis area for more than thirty-five years. She has also been serving as a special judge for the Shelby County General Sessions Court for twenty years.[4]
