Fite ran for election to the Shelby County General Sessions Court.
General: She was defeated in the general election on August 7, 2014,, after receiving 45.3 percent of the vote. She competed against incumbent Judge Betty Thomas Moore. [1][2]

Education

Fite received her undergraduate degree from the University of Cincinnati and her J.D. degree from the University of Memphis.[3]

Career

Fite has practiced law in the Memphis area for more than thirty-five years. She has also been serving as a special judge for the Shelby County General Sessions Court for twenty years.[4]
