The Geneva Public Demonstration Restriction Question was on the ballot for March 11, 2012, in Geneva, Switzerland. The ballot measure was approved.
The ballot measure sought to restrict demonstrations in Geneva and implement fines for those who violated the restrictions. The ballot measure was designed to allow demonstrators who did not have permission beforehand or who did not follow agreed upon conditions to be fined upwards of 100,000 Swiss Francs.[1]
