  • I’ve been honored to represent the Town Of Lyman and its citizens since 2016 as a Council Member and as Mayor since 2021. we have made tremendous advances, but still have more to do. I have operated an administration with integrity, transparency, and following the rule of law. I’ve delivered on my promises of keeping Lyman safe, strong and affordable. We have achieved many great results, including growth of our businesses, investment in our infrastructure, following fiscal responsibility and working to keep our city safe through our fire department and police department strategies.
  • Lyman has been recognized for incredible growth in multiple areas, including population coming to town, number of businesses of all sizes coming to and operating in the town, while maintaining fiscal responsibility and being the second lowest taxed municipality in Spartanburg County.. we have also bettered the Lyman that we inherited. We have updated Hardscapes on Grau Road while completing the repairs of sidewalks across the city. We have invested over $10 million infrastructure. we have bought the mill site that literally sits in the center of town, but was not in the city when I took office as the Mayor. we have plans for continued updating of town, facilities and infrastructure.
  • The future of Lyman is packed with promise and possibilities. With continued smart growth policies to develop in a common sense approach, we will be able to maximize the benefit of retail, commercial and residential development in the years to come. While we do this, we must also continue to attract businesses downtown so that we are no longer a pass through community. This will not be easy, but it is best for the town. As both council member and Mayor, I’ve always represented ALL of Lyman. I look forward to serving as your next mayor when I am reelected on November 4
I have always wanted to be a good citizen of my city state and country. Whether it was starting in Boy Scouts at Nazareth, Presbyterian Church, or being a royal ambassador at Green Street Baptist Church, I learned the proper way to treat people. I figured out while at Byrnes High school taking my first government class, that I wanted to help people through civic service. The same pursuit, continued as I went to Wofford College and earning a BA degree in Government. All of these things, in collaboration with serving on multiple local county and state committees, have prepared me to operate in the political sphere. I am proud of the record that I have in service to our community.
