The Hawaii Clarifying Supplemental Appropriation, Amendment 2, also known as Amendment 2, was on the ballot in Hawaii on November 7, 1972, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was approved. The amendment proposed one new addition to the constitution: Article VI, Section 5. The amendment proposed clarification on legislation needed for supplemental appropriation.[1]
