|
The Hawaii Legislative Recesses Amendment, also known as Amendment 1, was on the ballot in Hawaii on November 6, 1990, as a legislatively referred constitutional amendment. It was defeated. The amendment proposed changing the legislative session recess minimum from five to six days and to allow recesses to occur at a time to be determined by concurrent resolution, rather than at some period between the twentieth and fortieth days of the regular session.[1]
