Henry Pruette was a 2014 candidate for the 14th Judicial District, serving Durham County in 2014.[1]

Pruette ran for election to the 14th Judicial District Court.
Primary: He was successful in the primary on May 6, 2014, receiving 28.3 percent of the vote. He competed against incumbent Judge Doretta Walker and Mark Simeon.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 38.6 percent of the vote. He competed against Judge Doretta Walker.[2][3][4][5]

Judicial performance evaluation

In July 2014, the North Carolina Bar Association released the results of a survey in which it asked lawyers to rate the judicial candidates for the trial courts. The candidates were rated from one to five on five different criteria as well as on their overall performance.[6]
