|Pro-Life and Pro-Second Amendment I take a very strong stance on protecting life, ALL LIFE. I am also a staunch supporter of the Second Amendment. I'm sure to some, this seems like a paradox, but I do not see it that way. I believe gun violence, in part is due to things such as mental disorders and drug abuse. Education I have two teenage boys that attend the public High School, here in Brookville, Indiana. Education is very important to me. I know the impact it can have on students; this includes my two boys. I feel that education is one of the most valuable instruments for children to succeed in life. I believe that teachers should be protected and paid well for the very difficult job that they do because, unfortunately, as we all know, things are just not like they used to be in reference to education. Parents should have a say in what their children are being taught, some things are for parents to teach, not schools.
