James Hudson is a district court judge in the Fifth Judicial District of New Mexico.[1] He was appointed by Governor Susana Martinez in March 2013 to replace deceased Judge Ralph D. Shamas.[2] He was elected in 2014 for a term that expires on December 31, 2018.[3]

Education

Hudson received his undergraduate degree from Notre Dame University and his J.D. from the University of New Mexico.[2]

Career

Prior to his appointment to the bench, Hudson was a private practicing attorney.[2]
