Campaign themes

2014

Lewis listed the following issues on his campaign website:[3]

  • Public safety
Excerpt: "Our families, our property and our livelihoods are dependent upon well-trained, equipped, and appropriately allocated public safety teams. Our public safety officers must know that the public has their back - and that of their families - as they faithfully put their lives on the line. That support does not mean we don't hold our officers accountable for their actions. Once they are provided the best training and leadership, we must understand the life-and-death decisions they are called on to make."
  • Infrastructure
Excerpt: "Upgrading Naples' Seawalls...Completion of Bluff stability project"
  • Jobs
Excerpt: " As a product of a technical High School and Regional Occupation Program, I will continue to support Bob Foster's initiative for more technical training at the High School level and beyond."
