I am currently the Capital and Facilities Manager locally in Williams Township. I believe in fiscal responsibility (which leads to lower taxes) and favor decisions by the local government office, not federal or state "big brother" oversight. I support the U.S. Constitution for people's rights, including the Right to Bear Arms.
  • Responsible spending of taxpayer funds. This ultimately decreases taxes once a tax millage expire.
  • Decision making pushed to the local government office. The Federal government does not understand the local needs of Williams Township. Nor would Lansing.
  • U.S. Constitution should be supported. This includes the right to bare arms.
I am interested in Williams Township attracting and retaining new businesses. Permit fees or slow response times can be a turn off to new businesses.
I look up to Ronald Reagan for genuinely caring about people, national defense, and smaller government.
Honesty, availability, and willingness to listen and consider multiple viewpoints.
I am well-educated and am great with numbers and finance in general. I am honest, fair, and listen with a balanced view.
Ensure smart spending of taxpayer funds. Determine what benefits the MAJORITY of the people as well as what would make the Township look attractive to families and businesses.
Transparent local government spending and bringing forward cool projects that will last 10+ years. Example: Pickleball Court.
Space Shuttle Challenger exploded mid flight in 1985. I was just 13 years old.
Chemical engineer - I served for 27 years at Hemlock Semiconductor Corporation.
I enjoy Malcolm Gladwell's novel Outliers. There is no escaping the 10,000 hour rule for success.
Figuring out teenagers! They can know they are making a bad decision, but still proceed making it.
As a the member of the Board, a trustee can help prevent the automatic passage of spending without review.
No experience is necessary. Coming into the office as a new Trustee brings accountability without ulterior motives.
I hold an MBA from Northwood University, which includes concentration in Finance. I also service as a Capital and Facilities Manager - I understand budgets, schedule, and spending tradeoffs.
Financial transparency is critical to help people understand where their tax dollars go.
