The election in Billings featured four of the nine seats on the board up for general election on May 5, 2015.

Both District 4 incumbent Joseph Raffiani and District 5 incumbent Rob Rogers ran unopposed and won re-election to their seats. Raffiani won a full three-year term, and Rogers won an unexpired one-year term. Newcomer Mike Leo also ran unopposed and won the vacant District 6 seat.

No candidates filed to run for the High School District A seat, which left it open to a write-in candidate. In April 2015, both Gordon Klasna and Jeff Simkovic registered to run as write-in candidates for the seat. Klasna defeated Simkovic to win the only contested seat in the election.
