Jeff W. Davis is a judge for the Seventh Judicial Circuit in South Dakota. He has held this seat since 1979. Davis was first appointed as presiding judge in 2006 and was reappointed by Chief Justice David Gilbertson on August 15, 2013.[1][2][3] He was re-elected to the circuit court in 2014 for a term that expires in 2022.[4]

Education

Davis received his undergraduate degree from the University of South Dakota in 1970 and his J.D. from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 1973. Davis also attended the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in 1966 and 1967.[5]
