Jim Moss (West Virginia)
Jim Moss was a 2014 Republican candidate who sought election to the U.S. House to represent the 2nd Congressional District of West Virginia.[1] He lost the Republican nomination in the primary on May 13, 2014.[2]
Biography
Moss graduated from Dunbar High School and attended West Virginia Institute of Technology in Montgomery, West Virginia, where he earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.[3]
After graduating from the West Virginia Institute of Technology, Moss moved to Rochester, New York and worked for the Eastman Kodak Company. After two years, he moved to Columbia, South Carolina, to work for the Michelin Tire Corporation. While working for Michelin, he earned an MBA from the University of South Carolina.[3]
Career
In January 2000, Moss started working for Toyota Motor Manufacturing in Buffalo, West Virginia.[3]
Elections
2014
Moss ran in the 2014 election for the U.S. House to represent West Virginia's 2nd District.[1] Moss lost the Republican nomination in the primary on May 13, 2014 to Alex Mooney.[2]
