The city of Chicago, Illinois, held elections for city council on February 24, 2015. A runoff, if necessary, will take place on April 7, 2015. The filing deadline for candidates who wished to run in this election was November 24, 2014.[1] In the general election for Ward 41, incumbent Mary O’Connor faced Anthony V. Napolitano and Joe Lomanto.[2] Incumbent O'Connor and challenger Napolitano advanced past Lomanto, to face each other in a runoff on April 7, 2015. Napolitano was the winner.[3][4]
