John Burton Daugherty ran for judge on the Benzie County Probate Court in 2012.

2012 election

Daugherty advanced from the primary election, winning 34.16% of the vote. He was defeated by John D. Mead in the general election on November 6, receiving 44.02% of the vote.[1][2][3]

July 11th forum

The League of Women Voters held a candidate forum to field questions to the Benzie County probate court candidates. If elected Daugherty says he will bring efficiency and order to the courts.[4]
