Graham ran for election to the Austin County Court.
Primary: He was successful in the Republican primary on March 4, 2014, receiving 34.2 percent of the vote. He competed against Clyde Drake, Tommy Johnson, Tim Lapham, Nick Tirey and Abel A. Pena, Jr.
Runoff: Because no candidate received more than 50% of the vote, Graham faced Lapham in a runoff election on May 27, 2014. He was narrowly defeated, earning 49.9% of the votes cast.
