Falkowski ran in the 2012 election for Rhode Island House of Representatives District 23. Falkowski was unopposed in the September 11 Republican primary and was defeated by K. Joseph Shekarchi (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[1]

Falkowski stated that he would promote business growth through deregulation, and supports use of the E-verify system "to stop illegal immigrants from obtaining benefits which is having a economic drain on Rhode Island and all our hard working citizens."[2]
