I grew up in Madeira, and I’m proud to now raise my own family with my husband Matt in the community that shaped me. From an early age, I learned the value of civic engagement from my father, a former Madeira City Council member and mayor, and from my mother, whose dedication to our community and schools has been equally inspiring. Their example instilled in me a deep sense of responsibility to give back to the place we call home. I hope to share that same passion and dedication with my own children.

For the past six years, I’ve served on the Madeira Parks & Recreation Board, including four years as co-vice chair. That experience has given me firsthand knowledge of how our city government works, the challenges we face, and the exciting opportunities ahead. It has also shown me the importance of listening to residents, weighing options carefully, and making decisions that strengthen our whole community.

Professionally, I’ve spent 14 years as a certified health and wellbeing coach at TriHealth. My career in health promotion and education has equipped me with skills that translate directly to public service: active and empathetic listening, problem-solving, and a commitment to approaching issues with curiosity rather than judgment. I plan to use the dimensions of wellbeing framework as a guide in my work on City Council, recognizing that our city’s success is rooted in community, financial, physical, environmental, and social wellbeing.
  • Investing in Safety

Our police and fire departments make up the majority of our city's budget, and with good reason. When our community members are at their most vulnerable and in need of help, it's vital that our police and fire departments have the necessary support to do their jobs and do them well. This might include funding to maintain police vehicles, fire trucks and ambulances; to have necessary safety equipment for both the first responders and citizens; and to support our police and fire departments' physical and mental wellbeing.

Helping the helpers is a vital component to the wellbeing of our community.
  • Supporting a Thriving Business District Madeira has many exceptional businesses in its midst who contribute so much to our community. As a council member, I look forward to having more conversations with our business owners to find out why they chose Madeira as the location for the business, what keeps them here, and what might push them out. Engaging with our current businesses will offer great insights as to how to attract more businesses to Madeira, as well as how to keep our current businesses here.
  • Sustainability & Resource Management As a council member, I plan to support our city administration in it's efforts to streamline processes, cut waste, and explore sustainability measures that lead to cost-savings. One example is expanding the amount of waste our city diverts from landfills, which results in lower costs in the city's waste management. This can be accomplished by introducing a free community composting program, increasing engagement in recycling (both curbside and e-waste recycling), and offering continued city support to the city-wide yard sale and the Madeira PTO Changing Hands Sales.
Sustainability, economic development, preserving green spaces, community wellbeing.
I look up to both of my parents, who have always been engaged in service to others
Transparency, strong communication, active listening skills.
