Campaign themes

Karla Cook's campaign website listed the following issues for her 2013 campaign.[4]

Equity

"EQUITY: "Equity means you have what you need when you need it, and not everyone has the exact same needs. We do what is best for the school and the students.""

Forward Focused

"Our district faces serious – but exciting – challenges and opportunities. I have been fortunate enough to serve in a two-year, at-large position and I ask for your re-election support as we move forward to build on recent progress. Challenges have been clearly identified in recent years. It is time to move forward with unity, equity, certainty and foresight."
