Karla Cook
Karla Cook is a former member of the Iowa City Community School District Board of Education. She was defeated in an election on September 10, 2013.
Biography
Karla Cook earned her bachelor's degree in mathematics and a master's degree in secondary education from University of Iowa. Cook is a retired math teacher with the Iowa City Consolidated School District. She is serving as vice president for the ICCSD School Board for 2012-13. She lives in Iowa City with her spouse and has two grown children as well as two grandchildren.[1]
