Kathleen Tafoya
Kathleen Tafoya was a federal magistrate judge for the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. She was appointed to this position in 2007.[1][2][3] She retired from the court in January 2022.[4]
Education
Judge Tafoya received her law degree from the University of Colorado School of Law.[1]
Career
Judge Tafoya spent 17 years as a federal prosecutor before becoming a judge. Her most notable case resulted in the arrest of several members of the "Rolling 30s Crips" and at the time of the trial was the largest gang roundup in Colorado state history.[1]
