Kay Morgan was a 2014 judicial candidate for the 55th District Court in Texas.[1]

Primary: She ran unopposed in the Democratic primary on March 4, 2014.
General: She was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 45.7 percent of the vote. She competed against Jeff Shadwick.

Education
Morgan earned a B.A. in history and political science from Baylor University in 1969. She went on to receive a master's degree from Southern Methodiest University in 1973 and a J.D. from St. Mary's University School of Law in 1980.[4][5]
