Kelley D. Peacock
Kelley Denney Peacock was a judge for the Cherokee County Court at Law in Texas. She was appointed on December 9, 2013, and sworn in on December 10. Peacock ran for re-election in 2014 and lost.[1][2][3]
Education
Peacock received her J.D. from the University of Houston in May 2002.[4]
Career
Before her appointment to the County Court at Law, Peacock was a Cherokee County attorney and an assistant county attorney.[3]

Peacock ran for election to the Cherokee County Court at Law.
Primary: She was successful in the Republican primary on March 4, 2014, receiving 38.1 percent of the vote. She competed against Janice Crosby Stone and Daniel Boone Childs.
Runoff: Because no candidate received more than 50% of the vote, Peacock faced Stone in a runoff election on May 27, 2014. Peacock was defeated, earning 42.9% of the vote.
