Greenfelder ran for election to the Saginaw County Probate Court.
Primary: He was successful in the primary on August 5, 2014, receiving 21.8 percent of the vote. He competed against Stephan M. Gaus, Jim Hession, Barbara Meter, and Christopher Swartz.
General: He was defeated in the general election on November 4, 2014, after receiving 43.4 percent of the vote. He competed against Barbara Meter.

Education
Greenfelder received his bachelor's degree from Grand Valley State University in 1986 and his J.D. degree from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1999.[3]

Greenfelder has been a partner at Greenfelder & Greenfelder for 15 years.[3]
