Biography

Education

Reed received his undergraduate degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his J.D. from Howard University.[3]

Career

Reed serves as a judicial commissioner and is a magistrate for the Shelby County General Sessions Criminal Court. He has also previously worked as an attorney in private practice and served as an assistant public defender in Shelby County.[4]

General: He was defeated in the general election on August 7, 2014, after receiving 40.0 percent of the vote. He competed against Robert A. Wampler and incumbent Judge James F. Russell.[1][2]
