Kevin E. Reed
Kevin E. Reed ran for election for the Division 10 judge of the Shelby County General Sessions Court in Tennessee. He lost in the general election on August 4, 2022.
Reed was a 2014 candidate for the Thirtieth Circuit Court, Division 2 in Tennessee.[1][2]
Biography
Education
Reed received his undergraduate degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his J.D. from Howard University.[3]
Career
Reed serves as a judicial commissioner and is a magistrate for the Shelby County General Sessions Criminal Court. He has also previously worked as an attorney in private practice and served as an assistant public defender in Shelby County.[4]

General: He was defeated in the general election on August 7, 2014, after receiving 40.0 percent of the vote. He competed against Robert A. Wampler and incumbent Judge James F. Russell.[1][2]
