First elected in 2020, I served five years as Comal County Tax Assessor-Collector, focusing on transparency, customer service, and responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars. Under my leadership, the office expanded services, cut wasteful spending, and returned more than $1 million to taxpayers in just one year. My leadership has been recognized with state and local honors for public service and community impact. A longtime community volunteer and small business owner, I holds a B.A. from the University of Georgia and completed the Harvard Kennedy School Senior Executives program. I have served on multiple civic and nonprofit boards for many years throughout Comal County. I am raising two children with my husband, Matthew.
  • I’m running to lead our county with conservative values, protect taxpayers, support law and order, and preserve the quality of life and character of Comal County — with strong, principled, servant leadership. Luke 12:48 reminds us, those entrusted with much are accountable for much. I kept my promises as Tax Assessor-Collector, and I’ll continue standing firm as your County Judge.
  • Water and development: We need to plan ahead, protect property rights, and insist on responsible growth. By bringing cities, utilities, groundwater districts, and the private sector together, protecting recharge zones, supporting education, conservation and infrastructure, and encouraging supplemental water sources outside Comal County, we can meet growth without sacrificing our quality of life.
  • Emergency preparedness: As County Judge, I’ll prioritize preparedness—not reaction. That means continued investment in flood mitigation, ongoing improvement of low-water crossing and early-warning alerts, strengthening community notification systems, and ensuring unified coordination among fire departments, EMS, law enforcement, including state and federal agencies, across Comal County to protect lives and property.
I am most interested in public policy that strengthens local control and ensures responsible growth. That includes giving counties real authority over development decisions, protecting water resources and recharge zones, supporting law enforcement and emergency management, and opposing unfunded mandates that drive up costs for taxpayers. My focus is on fiscally responsible, commonsense policies that preserve public safety, infrastructure capacity, and quality of life in fast-growing communities.
