Kyle Ardoin (Republican Party) was the Louisiana Secretary of State. He assumed office on May 9, 2018. He left office on January 8, 2024.

Ardoin (Republican Party) ran for re-election for Louisiana Secretary of State. He won in the general election on November 16, 2019.

Ardoin became acting secretary on May 9, 2018, following the resignation of former Secretary Tom Schedler. Schedler left office on May 8, 2018, due to allegations of sexual misconduct.[1] Ardoin won election to the remainder of Schedler's term in November 2018.

Biography

Ardoin was the chief executive officer of the Louisiana Independent Pharmacies Association from July 2005 to January 2007.[2]

Political career

Louisiana Secretary of State (2018-2023)

Ardoin became the Republican acting Louisiana secretary of state in May 2018. He replaced Tom Schedler who resigned due to allegations of sexual misconduct.[1] Ardoin won election to the remainder of Schedler's term in November 2018.

Prior to his elevation as secretary of state, Ardoin served as first assistant secretary of state.[1]
