La Quietta J. Hardy-Campbell
La Quietta J. Hardy-Campbell was a judge of the Cook County 7th Subcircuit in Illinois.[1] She was first elected in 1998, and she retired from the court in 2014.[2][3]
Education
Hardy-Campbell earned a B.S. from Southern Illinois University in 1973, going on to receive her J.D. from DePaul University School of Law in 1977.[2]
Career
Prior to her judicial election in 1998, Hardy-Campbell spent 12 years as a private practitioner. She has also served as special counsel to the Chicago Park District and as general counsel for Congressman Cardiss Collins and Congressman William L. Clay, for whom she drafted legislation and coordinated Congressional oversight hearings. Additionally, she has worked as an adjunct profesor at the Chicago-Kent College of Law.[2]

Hardy-Campbell was retained in 2010, receiving 75.31% of the vote.[4]
Hardy-Campbell was recommended for retention by the Judicial Performance Commission of Cook County.[5]
