Larry Schwartz is a judge of the Colorado 10th District Court.

Schwartz ran for re-election for judge of the Colorado 10th District Court. He won in the general election on November 2, 2010.

Schwartz was initially appointed to this position by Gov. Bill Ritter (D) on March 26, 2008, and took office on July 1, 2008. Schwartz was retained to a full six-year term in 2010. He in the general election on November 8, 2016.

Biography

Schwartz received his undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Southern Colorado in 1979 and his law degree from the University of Oklahoma in May 1982. He began his career in November 1982 as an assistant district attorney for Pueblo County. He became a lawyer with the firm of Drummond & Dougherty P.C., later called Drummond, Dougherty & Schwartz P.C., on January 1, 1985. He practiced family law there until July 2008.[1]
