Laura Redmond Mack was a judge for the Michigan 29th Judicial District Court in Wayne County, Michigan. Mack was appointed to the court in 2004.[1] Mack resigned from the court on March 1, 2020.[2]

Biography

Mack received her undergraduate degree from Walsh College and her J.D. from Wayne State University.[3] Before joining the court, Mack practiced law with the firm of Seyburn, Kahn, Ginn, Bess, and Serlin, PC, specializing in estate and tax law.[4]

Mack was re-elected to the 29th District Court after running unopposed in 2012.[5][6]

Judges of the Michigan District Courts are each elected to six-year terms.[7] The elections for this court are nonpartisan contested elections. To serve on this court, a judge must be a qualified elector of the district, licensed to practice law in the state, under the age of 70, and have five years of experience practicing law.
