Lawrence A. MacLeod, Jr. is a justice of the New Hampshire Superior Court.[1] He was appointed to this position in December 2013 by Governor Maggie Hassan.[1][2] MacLeod was recommended to Hassan by the Governor's Judicial Selection Committee. Following the governor's appointment, he was confirmed by the Executive Council for a term that began on January 15, 2014 and ends when he reaches the mandatory retirement age of 70.[3][4]
Education
MacLeod earned his bachelor's degree from Tufts University in 1982 and his J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law in 1991. He later completed post-graduate course work at Harvard University.[1]
