Lloyd Stanton French
Lloyd French was a 2014 Independent candidate for District 16 of the Florida State Senate. He withdrew from the race in early September.[1]
Biography
French earned an associate degree from North Shore Community College in 1975 and an associate degree from the Community College of the Air Force in 1993. He also earned a bachelor's degree from Barry University in 2000.[2]
French is a licensed private pilot who is a 30 year Air Force veteran. He has also served seven years as government contract program manager. French is a member of the NRA and a US Fish and Wildlife Service Volunteer.[2]

Elections for the Florida State Senate took place in 2014. A primary election took place on August 26, 2014. The general election was held on November 4, 2014. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run in this election was June 20, 2014. Incumbent Thad Altman defeated Monique Miller in the Republican primary and was unchallenged in the general election. Lloyd Stanton French (I) withdrew from the race in early September.[3][4][5]
