Primary: He was defeated in the Democratic primary on March 4, 2014, receiving 9.4 percent of the vote. He competed against Fritz Faulkner. [1][2][3]

Rogers ran unopposed in the Republican primary for Justice of the Peace, Precinct 4, in San Jacinto County, Texas and was defeated by Greg Magee in the general election.[4][5]
