| “ | What is your political philosophy?
My husband Mike and I established our careers and raised our daughters in Mesa because our community is committed to excellence in education. Mesa schools provide the mortar that supports strong families, the foundation of a strong community. Our future depends on strong public schools. In Mesa, public education is not a cost; it’s an investment – an investment in our families, our economy, our democracy, and in each other. I care:
I could no longer be a bystander to the disintegration of public education in Arizona. As an elected official, I will work tirelessly with anyone to secure permanent and dedicated funding for our schools. And I will work collaboratively with my colleagues on the school board to set sound educational, fiscal and operational policies. Is there anything you would like to add? My experiences as a Mesa classroom teacher, an ASU director and a public education advocate has prepared me to work tirelessly with others for the benefit our community. Because of these experiences and my dedication to public education in Mesa, I have been endorsed by a wide variety of Mesa citizens for a seat on the Mesa Public Schools Governing Board. I would be honored to have your vote. [2] |
