Funding
Gomez filed an exemption form detailing she would not spend or receive more than $2,000 for this campaign. Because of this, she did not have to file additional campaign finance reports.[5][6]
2014
Three at-large seats on the Hesperia Unified School District Board of Education were up for general election on November 4, 2014. Incumbents A. Hardy Black, Niccole Childs and Eric Swanson ran against challengers Kelly J. Gregg, Marcy M. Kittinger and Maria T. Gomez. Swanson and Childs won their bids for re-election, but Black was defeated by Kittinger.
