Mark Scappe was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 44 of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.

Scappe ran in the 2012 election for Pennsylvania House District 44. Scappe ran unchallenged in the Democratic primary on April 24 and was defeated by incumbent Mark Mustio (R) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012.[1]

Scappe is the grandson of Italian immigrants (his surname was Anglicised from Schiappa). He and his wife Cindy have two sons.[2]
