Martin Marroquin
Martin Marroquin was a candidate in the general election on May 6, 2017 for the District 4 representative on the Tyler Independent School District school board in Texas. Marroquin withdrew his candidacy on February 24, 2017.[1]

Two of seven seats on the Tyler Independent School District board of trustees were up for by-district general election on May 6, 2017. District 2 incumbent Orenthia Mason and District 4 incumbent Patricia Nation ran unopposed in their bids for re-election. Martin Marroquin filed to run for the District 4 seat but withdrew his candidacy on February 24, 2017.[2] Both elections were canceled due to a lack of opposition and both candidates were automatically re-elected to another term.[3]
Results
Marroquin withdrew his candidacy. Incumbent Patricia Nation was automatically re-elected.
