Maureen Hazinski Harrod
Maureen Hazinski Harrod is a judge for the Arkansas 16th Judicial Circuit. She was appointed in October 2016 by Gov. Asa Hutchinson for a term lasting from January 1, 2017, to December 31, 2018. She replaced Judge John Kemp, who was elected chief justice of the Arkansas Supreme Court.[1][2]
Biography
Harrod obtained a B.A. and B.S. from the University of South Florida and a J.D. from the University of Arkansas.[2]
At the time of her appointment in October 2016, Harrod was in private practice in Heber Springs. Her professional experience also includes work as an alderman and city attorney for Heber Springs and as a deputy prosecuting attorney for the 6th Judicial District and the 16th Judicial District. She has also done appellate work in the Arkansas Supreme Court and the Arkansas Court of Appeals[2]
