Melanie M. Shaw Geter is a judge of the Appellate Court of Maryland 4th Appellate Circuit. She assumed office in 2016. Her current term ends on December 31, 2028.
Shaw Geter ran for re-election for judge of the Maryland Court of Special Appeals 4th Appellate Circuit (Historical). She won in the retention election on November 6, 2018.
She was appointed to the court by Republican Governor Larry Hogan.[1]
