Melvin S. Hoffman
Melvin S. Hoffman was a judge of the United States bankruptcy court, District of Massachusetts. He joined the court on April 16, 2010.[1] He retired from the court on June 30, 2021.[2]
Biography
Education
Hoffman received his undergraduate degree from Yeshiva University and his J.D. from Syracuse University Law School.[3]
Career
Hoffman began his legal career as a law clerk for Judge Harold Lavien. Prior to his appointment to the court, Hoffman was a partner with the firm Looney & Grossman LLP.[3]
