Merle Boucher (b. July 19, 1946) was a Democratic-NPL member of the North Dakota House of Representatives. He represented the 9th District from 1991-2010. Boucher is the minority leader for North Dakota State House of Representatives; and was a candidate for Governor in North Dakota in 2004.

Boucher is a farmer and consultant, and has been on the Children's Services Coordinating Committee since 1995. His professional experience also includes being an educator for 20 years and the Rolette Community Improvement, Incorporated.

Boucher earned his AA from North Dakota State University, Botineau in 1966 and B.S. from Mayville State University in 1970.

Boucher and his wife, Susan, have four children.[1]
