Minnesota judge's suspension draws fire from challengers

Minnesota: Judge Timothy L. Blakely, of the First Judicial District of Minnesota, will be facing three different challengers this year to his incumbency. Two of his opponents for this year's race are bring to light Blakely's recent six month suspension for profiting from his position on the court. Of the three candidates who are announced, Lawrence Clark, Shelly Rohr, and Stephen Baker, Clark and Baker have included references on their campaign website referring to the suspension.[1]
